The Center for Working Families (CWF) is a 501c(3) organization engaged in policy development, research, public education, coalition building, and campaign support. We work to articulate and implement concrete public policies that advance democracy, solidarity, and economic and racial justice in the United States.
CWF’s focus is not limited to policy development. Our approach to developing and advancing policy reforms is attentive to the conditions that support change and identifying the best opportunities to advance progressive policies. Our collaboration with community groups, labor organizations, netroots activists, youth groups, progressive elected officials, and advocacy organizations is driven by the recognition that winning the changes we seek requires not only good ideas, but also the power and relationships necessary to enact and implement them.
See our events page for information on our 2010, 2011, and 2012 New York State policy conferences and other past events.
